No. We are a private clinic and do not bulk bill. You pay the full fee for your appointment, and if you are eligible, you may be able to claim a Medicare rebate.

Yes. Our GP can provide ongoing medication management and continuation prescribing, where eligible.

No. For continuation prescribing, your diagnosis must have been made by an Australian psychiatrist, so a diagnosis made overseas can’t be used. You’ll need a new assessment in Australia. Our GP can carry out that assessment. Please still bring your overseas report and medication history, if any; as they help us understand your background.

Yes. Our GP can review how your treatment is working and, where clinically appropriate, change your medication or adjust your dose.

Dr Hiran is a GP with additional accredited training as an NSW-endorsed ADHD prescriber. He can assess and diagnose ADHD, start medication where clinically appropriate, and adjust it over time, with no referral needed.A psychiatrist may be more appropriate if your situation is more complex, such as other mental health conditions or previous treatment that hasn’t worked. If needed, Dr Hiran can share your care with psychiatrists at My ADHD Centre at Bondi.
