How Dr Hiran Can Help
Initial ADHD Assessment
For people who think they may have ADHD and have not been assessed in Australia. Your first consultation is up to an hour. It includes a detailed history and an assessment. If ADHD is diagnosed, Dr Hiran will discuss your treatment options with you at this visit. No referral is required, and Medicare rebates are available for eligible patients. If you were diagnosed overseas, we will need to assess you again in Australia. Please bring any previous reports, if you have them.
Continuation Prescribing
For patients who already have an ADHD diagnosis and are stable on medication. To be eligible, your diagnosis must have been made by an Australian psychiatrist. A diagnosis made overseas is not accepted for continuation prescribing. Dr Hiran reviews how your treatment is working and discusses your ongoing care. Medicare rebates are available for eligible patients. Prescribing eligibility is confirmed at your appointment.
